EXPERIMENTAL STUDIES ON THE EFFICIENCY OF JEONGCHEONHWADAMTANG AND JEONGCHEONHWADAMGANGKITANG

Abstract
Experimental studies were done to research the clinical effects of Jeongcheonhwadamtang and Jeongcheonhwadamgangkitang on the instantly type allergy, the delayed type allergy, the pulmonary thromboembolism and the lung damages in rats and mice.
1) Both the solid extract of Jeongcheonhwadamtang and Jeongacheonhwadamgangkitang remarkably lowered the vascular permeability response induced by histamine in rats.
2) The solid extract of Jeongcheonhwadamgangkitang significantly lowered the vascular permeability response induced by serotonin in rats, but the solid extract of Jeongcheonhwademtang recognized non significance
3) The solid extract of Jeongcheonhwadamgangkitang significantly repressed the response of the delayed type allergy in mice, but the solid extract of Jeongcheonhwadamtang did not revealed repression effect.
) Both the solid extract of Jeongcheonhwadamtang art 1 Jeongcheonhwadamgangkitang revealed the repressic n effects on the pulmonary thromboembolism in-du :ed by sodium arachidonate in mice.
,) Both the solid extract of Jeongcheonhwadamtang art i Jeongcheonhwadamgrangkitang recognized the fatal repression effects on the pulmonary thromboembo ism induced by ADP inmice.
(,) The solid extract of Jeongcheonhwadamgangkit ang significantly lowered the TBA value of the rat lur g tissue, but the solid extract of Jeongcheonhw adamtang recognized non significance.
"¢¥) The solid extract of Jeongcheonhwadamgangkitang significantly lowered th Na¢¥ and K¢¥ contents in th( rats blood, but the solid extract of Jeongcheoh%adamtang recognized non significance.
f ) Both the solid extract of Jeongcheonhwadamtang an I Jeongcheonhwadamgangkitang recognized non significance on the Cl- contents in the rats blood.
According to the above finding, it is suggested that thf solid extract of Jeongcheonhwadamgangkitang retains more effectiveness on the instantly type allergy, the delayed type allergy, the pulmonary thromboembo ism and the lung damages in rats and mice, compared wi h the solid extract of Jeongcheonhwadamtang.
